Booking & Payments
How do I check availability or make a booking?
You can check availability and book online by clicking on the book now button
Alternatively, you can email us with your preferred dates and pitch type, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
You can also call the office on 01945 585044 during our office hours, 9am–4pm, Monday to Friday.
How do I pay the balance for my booking?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your arrival. Our automated booking system will send out reminders with a link to follow to pay for your stay.
If you would like to pay your balance before the due date, that’s absolutely fine. Please call the office on 01945 585044 to pay by card over the phone.
Alternatively, you can email us here to request our bank details if you would prefer to pay by bank transfer.
We are due to arrive at The Secret Garden within the next few days but the weather looks terrible can we move our booking to a later date?
Unfortunately, bookings cannot be moved to a later date because of bad weather. If you choose not to travel due to the weather, your booking will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be offered.
CAMPING & PITCHES
Do you allow caravans, motorhomes and campervans?
Yes! We welcome caravans, motorhomes and campervans, as well as tents, converted vans and vehicles, trailer tents and roof tents.
Do your camping pitches have electric hook-up?
We have 41 pitches in total:

28 pitches have 16-amp electric hook-up and a water tap on the pitch.

2 pitches have electric hook-up only.

11 pitches are non-electric and are particularly suited to tents.
Do you allow fire pits and BBQs?
Yes. All of our pitches have a fire pit.
If you would like to use the fire pit for cooking, we strongly recommend bringing your own grill.
If you bring your own BBQ, please ensure that it is raised off the ground to prevent damage to the grass and reduce the risk of scorching.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
What time is check in and check out?
During peak season, check-in is from 1.30pm and check-out is by 11.30am.
If you would like to arrive earlier, please contact us the day before your stay. If your pitch is available, we’ll always do our best to accommodate you.
The same applies to late check-outs during the low season, subject to availability.
FAMILIES & DOGS
Is the Secret Garden family and child friendly?
Yes! The Secret Garden has always been a family-friendly campsite.
There is plenty of open space for children to play and enjoy themselves safely, under the supervision of responsible parents or guardians.
Is the Secret Garden dog-friendly?
Absolutely! Dogs are welcome throughout the site, so your four-legged friends can enjoy the holiday with you.
Food, Drink & Entertainment
Is there a pub at the campsite?

Is entertainment included in the cost of camping?
No. Entertainment is organised by Remarkable Entertainment, which is a separate company from The Secret Garden.

is Food available on Entertainment nights
Yes, Hatch22 and sometimes other vendors are on site from 5pm - 10.15pm.
This is a walk up service located outside of the entertainment venue. Simply order and pay for your food then take it back to your table in the pub or event area.
